DOVER - Mary L. Conley passed away Monday, April 6, 2009, in Silver Lake Center, Dover. Mary was born in Burnsville, W.Va., daughter of the late Franklin Jesse Boyles and Genevieve Harris Godfrey. She had worked as an inspector for manufacturing. She was a past council member for the Town of Kenton and member of Modern Maturity. Mary was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Roy; and three siblings. She is survived by three brothers, William Godfrey and wife Alta of Weston W.Va., Sterling Godfrey of Pleasant Valley, W.Va., and Eugene Godfrey and wife Ernestine of Weston; sister, Leona Crews of Richwood, W.Va.; a daughter, Debra and husband William Fibelkorn and grandson William III of Harrington; step-daughter-in-law, Erless Conley of Orlando, W.Va.; sisters-in-law, Opal Conley of Smyrna, Lilly Conley of Dover, and Virginia Conley of Flatwoods, W.Va.; and a large extended family of nieces, nephews and step-grandchildren. A memorial service will be 5 p.m., Thursday, April 16, at the Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the American Heart Association, 1151 Walker Rd. Suite 202, Dover, DE 19904.
