BRIDGEVILLE - Mary Josephine "Jo" Handloser, of Bridgeville, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, Dec. 8, 2010, surrounded by her family at Milford Hospice Center. She was 84. Jo was born Oct. 8, 1926, in Plant City, Fla., to Samuel Ira and Lillian Jordon Little. She had worked at HP Cannon & Sons, Adams IGA, and Del-Agra Foods in Bridgeville. Jo was a member of Wesley UMC, in Seaford. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers, Eddie and Wesley Little; and her husband, William H. Handloser who she married on January 17, 1945, in Bartow, Fla. They were married for 51 years. She is survived by three daughters, Phyllis Donovan of Milford, Peggy Martinez of Seaford, and Donna Seabrease and her husband Donnie of Bridgeville with whom she lived; six grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren. Services will be held on Monday, Dec 13, 2010, at 1 p.m. at Fleischauer Funeral Home, 16 W. Market St., Greenwood. Friends may call one hour prior to funeral. Interment will be held at St. Johnstown Cemetery, Greenwood. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Home of the Brave, 6632 Sharps Road, Milford, DE 19963.
