Mary Jo Stowell, 80FREDERICA - Mary Jo Stowell passed away peacefully in her home, surrounded by her loving family, Thursday, September 1, 2022.
Mary Jo was born July 3, 1942, in Milford, DE to the late, Clarence & Myrtle (Hall) Davidson. She worked for I.L.C., Frederica in the LTA Department for over 19 years, retiring in 1982 to help her husband with their business Red's Mobile Home Service. In her free time Mary Jo enjoyed bowling, playing cards with family and friends, especially 500 Rummy, and growing flowers in her garden.
She was preceded in death by several brothers & sisters.
Mary Jo is survived by her husband of 44 years, Elias C. Stowell; nine children, Stephen Stowell, Curtis Ensley, Mike Ensley, Julie Andrew, Gene Stowell, Robert Ensley, Lisa McGee, Sherry Lighthall, and Jamie Stowell; her sister, Martha Weaver; a brother, Phillip Davidson; along with numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.
A Celebration of her Life will be held at the convenience of the family.
