GEORGETOWN - Mary Ellen Hudson, 69, of Georgetown passed away on Monday, Dec. 4, 2017 at Seasons Hospice Christiana. She was born in Mobile, Ala. to Marjorie Derrickson Hudson and the late Richard T. Hudson, Jr.
Mary Ellen worked over 20 years at Milford Memorial Hospital as an LPN and then at several nursing homes. She was a member of Harbeson United Methodist Church.
She was preceded by her father.
Mary Ellen is survived by her mother; her brother, Richard L. Hudson and his wife, Connie; and three nephews, Steve, Ricky and Jimmy Hudson.
Funeral services will be held in the chapel of Short Funeral Services, 609 E. Market St., Georgetown, on Friday, Dec. 8, 2017 at 1 p.m. A time of visitation will begin at 12 p.m. Interment will be at Union Cemetery, Georgetown.
