LAUREL - Mary Elizabeth (Vincent) Windsor of Laurel was born March 5, 1918, in Concord, and departed this earth Thursday, March 29, 2007, in Laurel. She was 89.

Mary was born to Myra (Fleetwood) and Vordie Victor Vincent. She had a brother, Joe Vincent who preceded her in death, and is survived by a sister, Bertha Cantwell of Seaford.

She graduated from Seaford High School in 1935, fourth in her class, and graduated from Wilmington General Hospital School of Nursing in 1939 as a registered nurse.

Mary married her husband of 64 years in 1940, Norman Windsor, who passed away in 2004. Together they had four children, Carol Mackie of Fredericksburg, Va., Nancy Callahan of Laurel, Becky White of Little Rock, Ark., and Larry Windsor of Laurel.

She and her husband dedicated their lives to Christ in 1953 and were very active in the church and mission programs.

Many people knew her as "Miss Mary." She was a daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, humanitarian, good friend and an angel on earth to all who knew her. She will be missed terribly by those she leaves behind.
