Mary Elizabeth Wilkins

Mary Elizabeth Wilkins of Hudson died Wednesday, Jan. 17, 2007, in Livingston Nursing Home, Livingston, from complications related to diabetes.

She worked as a medical technician in the operating rooms of Somerset Medical Center in Somerville, N.J. She also drove a school bus in Hillsborough, baked wedding and birthday cakes, crocheted, knitted, oil painted and worked other crafts.

Mrs. Wilkins was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Hudson.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Roger Wilkins; and a grandson, James Stewart Wilkins.

She is survived by a sister and a brother-in-law, Don and Estelle Crane of Hudson; a brother, Robert Rayhon of Abbeville, S.C.; three sons and three daughters-in-law, Ronald R. and Claire Wilkins of Lincoln, Howard and Lorraine Wilkins of Pittsgrove, N.J., and Roger and Rita Wilkins of Richmond, Va.; 10 grandchildren, Richard Wilkins of Long Branch, N.J., David Wilkins of Flemington, N.J., Cherie and Don Wilkins of Lincoln, Wendy Wilkins, Stanley Wilkins, Tammy Wilkins, all of Pittsgrove, Robert Wilkins, Roger Wilkins, Russell Wilkins and Ryan Willkins, all of Richmond; many great-grandchildren including, Rhonda Wilkins and Jill Wilkins of Lincoln.

Services will be today in Bates and Anderson Funeral Home, Hudson.

Graveside services will be today in Franklin Memorial Park, North Brunswick, N.J.

Instead of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Trinity United Methodist Church, 555 Joslen Blvd., Hudson, NY 12534.
