DOVER - Mary Elizabeth Bowman "Libby" passed away Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at home, surrounded by her loving family.
Libby was born February 12, 1962 in York, Pennsylvania to the late Lawrence Stambaugh and Nancy Hinkle Stambaugh.
She worked for Bayhealth as a Sterile Technician as well as in the Deli Department at Food Lion Gateway South. She loved swimming, going to the beach and was a die-hard Raven's, Orioles and Penn State fan.
In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by her sister, Kathy Baker.
She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Richard Bowman of Dover; sons, Dustin Bowman and his wife Jamie of Camden, Zachary Bowman of Dover, Brandon Bowman and Ryan Bowman and his wife Amber all of Milford; daughter, Randi-Jo Cropper and her husband William of Frederica; a brother, Eric Stambaugh of Spring Grove, Pa.; grandchildren, Landon Frederick, Deserai, Bryson, Savannah and Emily Cropper and Mackynze Bowman.
Memorial services will be held 2 p.m., Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Road (Rt.10), Dover. Friends may call one hour prior.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to netcancerawareness.org.
