CECILTON, Md. - Mary E. "Sis" Huffer of Cecilton died Sunday, June 10, 2007, in her home. She was 57.
Mrs. Huffer was born Nov. 4, 1949, daughter of the late John and Elizabeth (Hessey) Getshall.
She was a lifetime resident of Cecil County, where she was raised in Fredericktown.
Mrs. Huffer was a 1967 graduate of Bohemia Manor High School.
After her marriage in 1971, she moved to Cecilton.
Mrs. Huffer is survived by her husband of 36 years, Edward L. "Bobby" Huffer Jr.; a daughter, Susan Cooper and her husband Mike of Cecilton; a brother, John F. Getshall of Alexandria, Va.; and two grandchildren, Steven and Kaitlyn Cooper.
Friends may call Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Galena Funeral Home of Stephen L. Schaech, 118 W. Cross St., where funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Galena Cemetery.
Memorials may be offered to Seasons Hospice or Autism Speaks in honor of her granddaughter, Kaitlyn, c/o the funeral home.
