Mrs. Ball was born in Hooversville, Pa., daughter of the late Henry and Ida Wirwick.

She was a homemaker.

Mrs. Ball's favorite activities included working in her yard, taking care of her flowers and cooking.

She enjoyed cooking and baking thoroughly and often did so for her family.

Mrs. Ball loved to spend time with her family, especially all her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Just a few weeks shy of the age of 101, she still was able to take care of herself and manage her home.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Willie J. Dill; her brothers, Kenneth Wirwick and Eugene Wirwick; and her sister, Edna Howell and Bernice Smith.

She is survived by her son, Francis Dill of Harrington; her daughters, Ruth L. Gallo and Margaret L. Boyer, both of Harrington, and Annabelle Mills of Milford; her brothers, Earl Yoder of Harrington, Ivan Yoder of Greensboro, Md., and Garnett Spencer of Hartly; 11 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.

Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday in Melvin Funeral Home, 15522 S. Dupont Highway, Harrington, where friends may call one hour prior.
