Mary Anna Bohm, 87
LAUREL - Mary Anna Bohm of Laurel died Friday, Nov. 24, 2006, in Jefferson Neurological Hospital, Philadelphia. She was 87.
She retired as a bookkeeper for Seaford Feed.
Mrs. Bohm was a lifetime member of St. Philip's Episcopal Church, Laurel; a charter member of the Laurel Lioness Club; and a member of the Laurel Garden Club and the Laurel Alumni Association.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ashby Layton and Hilda Chamber Shipley; a daughter, Frances Maureen Bohm; a sister, Frances Shipley Wagamon; a half-sister, Jean Shipley Durham; and a stepmother, Mildred Hastings Shipley.
She is survived by her husband, Henry Lee Bohm of Laurel; two daughters, Marguerite Moyer of Laurel and Mary Lee Groton of Seaford; a half-sister, Eleanor Shipley Willin of Bridgeville; three grandchildren, Meg Fillmore, Mark Maxwell and David Lowe; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday in St. Philip's Episcopal Church, Laurel, where friends may call one hour earlier.
Burial will follow in Laurel Hill Cemetery.
Instead of flowers, the family suggests donations in her memory to the American Cancer Society, 1138 Parsons Road, Salisbury, MD 21803; or St. Philip's Episcopal Church Memorial Fund, P.O. Box 293, Laurel, DE 19956.
