CAMDEN - Martha (Dill) Needles of Camden, a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2007, in Courtland Manor Nursing Home, Dover, surrounded by her loving family. She was 86.
She was born Dec. 8, 1920, in Delaware, daughter of the late Earl and Myrtle (Dean) Dill.
Mrs. Needles was raised and resided in the Greensboro, Md., area until 1955. She then moved to the Dover area and was employed with Playtex for 25 years, retiring in 1974.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harley Needles, in 1979; and her daughter, Thelma Tribbett Waski, in 2002.
She is survived by her son, Wayne and his wife Barbara Tribbett of Greensboro; a daughter, Faye and her husband Raymond Jolly of Camden; two brothers, Norman and his wife Rose Dill of Felton and William "Toddy" Dill of Denton, Md.; six grandchildren, Wayne Waski, Joe Waski, Tina Shockley, Wade Paugh, Barry Tribbett and Garry Tribbett; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday in Fleegle and Helfenbein Funeral Home, 106 W. Sunset Ave., Greensboro, where friends may call one hour earlier. Burial will be in Greensboro Cemetery.
Flowers will be accepted, or memorials may be offered to Compassionate Care Hospice, 5610 Kirkwood Highway, Wilmington, DE 19808.
