FELTON - Martha Jean "Ginger" Tribbett passed away on Aug. 23, 2018 at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia at the age of 69 years old. Martha, who went by Ginger to her family and those close to her, was born and lived her entire life in Felton with her loving Uncle Walter and Aunt Mae Procko.
She graduated from Felton High School in 1966 and graduated from Wesley College with an associate's degree in 1968. After graduation from college, she started her career as a secretary at Lake Forest School District. After many years, she started working as a secretary at the Department of Education. Many years later, she went back to where her career began at the Lake Forest School District, where she ultimately retired after 43 years with the state. Ginger did go back to work part-time at Poly Tech Adult Education and Dollar Tree Store.
Ginger is survived by her cousin, who was more like a sister, Jean Pizzadili; Jean's husband, Pete Pizzadili; her niece, Wendy Pizzadili; her niece and Goddaughter, Angela Pizzadili; her special cousin, Michael Wiokoski; her best friend, Mary Maffett, and her special friends, Michelle and Eddie Burgess. Ginger was a warm and loving person with a big heart who would do anything and everything to help someone in need! She was also known for being a huge animal lover, who never met a dog or cat that didn't love her! Ginger's favorite thing to do was baking, which by the way, everything she baked was extremely delicious! Also, in her spare time, she loved to read, go to the movies, and play with her animals. But most of all, she absolutely loved spending time with her family and friends.
