Marlene Elizabeth Wilson passed away on Sunday, March 14, 2021. She was born February 13, 1936 in Dover, Delaware to the late George Alexander St Louis and Dorothy Virginia St Louis.
In addition to her parents; Marlene was also preceded in death by her daughter, Marcia Lynn Graybeal.
Marlene spent much of her youth in Vermont, graduating from Littleton High School in Littleton, Vt. Her family then returned to Dover where she lived for many years, becoming a devoted mother to her children and pursing a successful career as a medical office manager, most recently at the Katherine L. Ford Medical Center. She moved to Camden in 1982 where she retired. She was a loving mother and wife who enjoyed playing video games in her free time with family members and grandchildren and being active on all forms of social media.
She is survived by her husband, Elmer Wilson; son, Dan Tanner; four grandchildren, Jeffrey, Mallory, Harrison and Benjamin; and three great grandchildren, Nalonna, Jordan and Damien.
Services will be held on Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at 2 p.m., graveside, at Sharon Hills Memorial Park, 2928 Sharon Hills Rd, Dover, DE 19904. Pastor Vernette Dow White of Little Creek United Methodist Church will be officiating.
In lieu of flowers, family suggests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society as she was an avid supporter.
