Mark Edward Erskine

MAGNOLIA - Mark Edward Erskine passed away surrounded by family and friends on Sunday, Feb. 11, 2018 at Christiana Hospital. He was 55 and had been fighting cancer for four years.
Mark was born Nov. 10, 1962 in Bangor, Maine to Paul Erskine and the late Catherine Bradbury Erskine.
He owned and operated Action Tire in Dover for 30 years. Mark was an accomplished pianist and an avid Patriot's and Red Sox Fan. He also enjoyed traveling and beach combing.
Mark is survived by his father, Paul of Old Orchard Beach, Maine; son, Justin Erskine of Smyrna; daughter, Crystal Rico (husband, Patrick) of Dixon, Calif.; brother, David Erskine (wife, Kimberley) of Missouri; sisters, Lisa Erskine Wenzel (partner, Cecil) of Tennessee; Kimberly Vercoe (husband, John) of Maine; granddaughters, Amaya and Justine; and his companion of 12 years, Jeannie Wilson of Dover; as well as many nieces and nephews. He also was a surrogate father to many.
A memorial service will be private at a later date.
The family would like to express their gratitude to Seasons Hospice for the care given to Mark, and Torbert Funeral Chapel for their services.
