SMYRNA - Marjorie J. Regener, passed away on Wednesday May 25, 2011 at Pinnacle Health Center, Smyrna. She was 85. She was born in Clayton, the daughter of the late Charles and Ruth Marker Pryor. She graduated from John Bassett Moore High School, Smyrna, in 1944, and attended Beacom College, Wilmington, in 1945. She had been employed by the Kent County Extension Service and by the State Board of Education, both in Dover, and the Smyrna Times. She was a member of Ewell's-St. Paul United Methodist Church, Clayton, and had participated in many 4-H Club activities and events. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, J. Leslie Pryor. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Albert S. Regener; a daughter, Rhoda C. Harris, of Clayton; a sister, Charlotte Price Hartman, of Haddonfield, N.J.; two sister-in-laws, Betty Blendt, of Townsend; and Beryl Pryor, of Melbourne, Fla.; an aunt, Geneva Pryor Laurie, of Clearwater, Fla.; six nieces and nephews, Linda Pryor LaRoche, Eric Pryor, Lisa Pryor Levy-Patton, Kristin Price Hocker, Heather Price Schwab, and Laurel Price Worth; five great-nieces and four great-nephews. Services will be 11 a.m., Tuesday, May 31, at Matthews-Bryson Funeral Home, 123 W. Commerce St., Smyrna, where friends may call at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Smyrna. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to either Ewell's-St. Paul United Methodist Church, PO Box 266, Clayton, DE 19938; or to Delaware Hospice Inc., 911 S. Dupont Hwy., Dover, DE 19901.
