Marjorie J. (Stein) Kosco, 87

WAYNESBURG, Pa. - Marjorie J. (Stein) Kosco of Waynesburg died Thursday, Feb. 22, 2007, in Rolling Meadows Nursing Home, Waynesburg. She was 87.

Mrs. Kosco was born Dec. 10, 1919, in Trenton, N.J., daughter of the late Ervin R. and Martha (MacClure) Stein.

She was a member of the First Church of Christ, Scientist, Boston.

Mrs. Kosco sang in the Bel Canto Choir in Trenton.

During World War II, she worked as a secretary for the Department of the Army.

Following the war, she and her husband owned and operated the NAPA store in Morrisville, Pa., for 20 years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, H. Roy Stein.

She is survived by her husband, Jules K. Kosco, whom she married Jan. 26, 1952; two daughters and two sons-in-law, Barbara K. and John Loeper of Waynesburg and Virginia A. and Geoffrey Werner of Seaford, Del.; four grandchildren, Daniel J. Loeper, Julia R. Loeper, Sarah E, Werner and David G. Werner; a brother, Robert Stein of Pensacola, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be at a later date.

Arrangements by Milliken and Throckmorton Funeral Home Inc., Waynesburg.
