Marion Gladys Briddell

Berlin, Md. - Marion Gladys Briddell departed this life on Wednesday, Dec. 13, 2017, at Berlin Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Born in Berlin, she was the daughter of the late Walter Briddell and Maggie Lockwood.
She will be lovingly remembered by: two daughters, Lisa Hagans (Jackie) and Jerry E. Bailey-Hayes (Wesley); two sons, Pastor Sylvester A. Briddell, Sr. (Ruby) and William A. Cuffee, Jr. (Mary); 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a daughter, Fay B. Townsend, six sisters, three brothers, a grandson, and three great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held Saturday, Dec. 23, 2017, at St. John 2nd Baptist Church, 26602 Mt. Joy Road, Millsboro, with a viewing one hour prior to the service. Interment followed at Golden Acres Cemetery, Bishopville, Md. A ministry of comfort and dignity was provided by Lewis N. Watson Funeral Home, P.A. in Salisbury, Md.
