Marian J. Marsh Arpino

Arpino, 76 MILFORD - Marian J. Marsh Arpino passed away Monday June, 18, 2012, at Milford Center in Milford, Del. She was born on December 18, 1935, in Machias, N.Y. to Doris Kahler Marsh and George Marsh. Marian lived a blessed life. She was most proud of the three years she spent serving her country in the Women's Army Corps, reaching the rank of E-5. In 1957, she married Command Sergeant Major George Arpino. Marian was a long-time member of Milford Church of the Nazarene in Milford. She served there in many different capacities through the years including Board Member and Missionary President. She traveled to Ecuador and Ethiopia on behalf of the Nazarene Work and Witness Program. Marian was an active participant in the American Cancer Society "Relay For Life" program for many years. Marian loved the Lord Jesus and she loved to travel and visit with friends and family. She leaves behind a legacy of dear friends and loved ones far too long to list. She is survived by their three daughters and their husbands, Cindy Lupinetti (John), Becky Hinerman (Charles), and Shari Pettit (Mark) and son Jeffrey Arpino. She is also survived by four brothers and their wives, Wesley Marsh (Karla), Albert Marsh (Maggie), Stanley Marsh (Chris), and Robert Marsh (Doris). Her surviving grandchildren are Megan Clough (Chris), and Molly, Shelby, and Matthew Pettit. Celebration of Life Services will be 11 a.m. on Friday, June 22, 2012, at the Milford Church of the Nazarene in Milford, Del. Burial will be at the Hollywood Cemetery, Harrington, Del. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, June 21, 2012, at the Trader Funeral home in Dover, Del. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be given to the Milford church of the Nazarene in Milford, Del.
