Maria De Los Angeles Martinez-Kerley

Maria De Los Angeles Martinez-Kerley affectionately known as "Angeles", was peacefully called home on Jan. 19, 2019 at Penn Medicine Hospital from heart surgery complications. Maria was born on June 22, 1963 in San Juan, Puerto Rico to mother, Maria S. Rodriguez and father, Angel Martinez.
She was raised in Brooklyn, N.Y. where she attended Abraham Lincoln High School, she then moved to Dover at the age of 24 where she remained and worked at Boscov's located in Dover Mall. Maria was a woman of God and member of Maranatha Life Changing Church.
She is survived by her sister, Maria E. Soto; nieces, Nina and Samantha Soto; her precious dog, Puffy; church members and friends who became family.
Funeral Services will be held 12 p.m. Friday, Jan. 25, 2019 at The Funeral Home of Michael J. Ambruso, 1175 S. State St., Dover, DE 19901, where a visitation will be offered from 10 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. Visitation also offered Thurs., Jan. 24, 2019 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Dover.
