Smyrna - Margo Marcia Towson passed away, Wed., Apr. 8, 2015 at Delaware Hospice Center, Milford. Margo was born 3/24/1950 in Jamaica Queens, N.Y. to Irvin and Doris Towson, eldest of six children. She moved from NY in 1961 to Whitesboro, N.J. where she attended 6th grade through High School in the Middle Township School system; graduating in 1968. She also graduated from Montclair State University, in Upper Monrclair NJ in 1973. She had worked for Amtrak for 33 years in various positions, where she retired as senior accountant for bank reconciliation and credit card sales, April 2010. Margo's greatest desire was that she would be a blessing to those she loved dearly and those encountered along life's journey, to make a difference. She walked with God, though not perfectly, ever striving in His power and His help to love her Heavenly Father and her fellow man. Margo's three marriages resulted in three wonderful children. She leaves to mourn, her daughter, Metrice Harris-Weedman; her sons, David T. Harris Jr. and Aaron F Jack; her grandchildren, Matias K. Weedman, Noah Harris Lyles, and Maia Weedman; her siblings, Janice Towson Dade and her husband, Michael, Irvin G Towson and his wife Elizabeth, Annette Towson, Michelle Thompson, Wayne E Towson and his wife Terry Garvin, and Cora Brown; nieces, Nicole Dean, Lauren Dezutti, Gabrielle Towson, Jillian Towson; nephews, Geoffrey Dade, Troy Towson, Christopher Towson, and her cousins Sarah Vaughan and Ann Herring. Funeral services will be held 11 A.M., Tues., Apr. 14, 2015 at Torbert Funeral Chapel, 1145 E. Lebanon Road (Rt.10), Dover. Friends may call one hour prior. Interment will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Smyrna.
