MILFORD - Margaretta T. Robbins passed away on Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at home. She was born in Milford, the daughter of the late John Linden Thompson, Sr. and Lillian (Smoot) Thompson. She was a homemaker and a member of the Delaware Farm Bureau, Sardis U.M. Church and Millwood Community Center. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, David Robbins in 2007; granddaughter, Emily Unger; Clifford Hammond, who was raised by the Thompson Family; and brothers, Selby Thompson, Sr, Linden Thompson, John Thompson, Jr., John May Thompson and Willard Thompson. She is survived by her three children, Ronald D. Robbins (Norma Jean), Thomas W. Robbins, Sr. (Barbara), and Faye Unger; sister, Lillian Clark Thompson Vandewende; sister-in-laws, Virginia Thompson and Doris Thompson; seven grandchildren, Joann Robbins, Arthur Robbins, Sr., Thomas Robbins, Jr., Leslie Schrivner, Erin Bowen, Seth Unger (fiance Francesca Gageby), and Matt Unger; 10 great-grandchildren, Arty Robbins, Jr., Tristan Robbins, Myriah Abraham, Josh Abraham, Zane Bowen, Grayson Bowen, William Schrivner, Thompson Schrivner, Lorelei Schrivner and Alexander Unger; four great-grandchildren, Gavin Robbins, Brooklyn Robbins, Piper Robbins and Parker Abraham; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Berry-Short Funeral Services, 119 N.W. Front St., Milford, where friends may call after 12 noon.
