Margaret Williamson Hallowell, 82

FEDERALSBURG, Md. - Margaret Williamson Hallowell of Federalsburg, passed away on Friday, Jan. 2, 2009, in Chesapeake Woods in Cambridge. She was 82. She was born March 16, 1926, in Friendship, near Federalsburg, the daughter of the late Ormond Fisher Williamson and Lillian Susan Kent Williamson. Her husband, William Robert Hallowell Sr. preceded her in death. She was a Federalsburg High School class of 1943. She was a homemaker. Margaret loved the Lord and she was a blessing to everyone she met. She is survived by two sons, William Robert "Bill" Hallowell Jr. of Moncks Corner, S.C., and Jeffrey S. Hallowell of Federalsburg; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A son, Donald Robert Hallowell; a grandson, John Paul Jones Jr.; a sister, Joanne Wroten; and two brothers, Linwood Williamson and James Ormond Williamson all preceded her in death. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Monday at the Framptom Funeral Home with Rev. Denzil Cheek officiating. Burial will follow in Hill Crest Cemetery in Federalsburg. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from noon to 2:00 p.m. Serving as pallbearers will be William Robert Hallowell II, Shane Kenneth Hallowell, Donald Robert Hallowell Jr., Brandon Phillips, Brent Phillips, and Dustin Tiley; honorary pallbearers will be Gerald Diehl and Mike Bramble.
