W. Weber, 89
DOVER, DE - Margaret (Peg) W. Weber passed away Thursday, January 5, 2023.
Peg was born April 8, 1933, in Lock Haven, Pennsylvania to the late Kline R. Wolf and Ruth K. Wolf. In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by her husband, Baxter C. Weber on November 20, 2011.
She was a devout Christian and member of The Cross Church of the Nazarene in Dover.
Peg loved her family, friends, Boston Terriers and all the family pets. She had a servant's heart. Peg volunteered for the Red Cross as a driver; was a Salvation Army Bell Ringer; delivered Meals on Wheels; and especially enjoyed doing pet therapy through the SPCA program.
Other favorite past times were watching and rooting for the Dallas Cowboys having a once in a life time opportunity to stand at the center of the Cowboy's Stadium on the 50-yard line with Baxter. She additionally enjoyed listening to music by Elvis, going to the beach and feeding the wildlife in her yard.
She is survived by her children, Pamela Chunko and her husband Rick of Dover, Beth Weber Miller and her husband R. Mark Miller of Ellendale and Bret Weber and his wife Nancy of Felton; grandchildren, Jacy Turck (Edward), Lindy Scott (Ryan), Brandon, Brennan, Blake Weber; and great grandchildren, Carter and Claire Scott.
We would like to give special thanks to Honoria Johnson and Family for their love as close friends for over 50 years. Thanks also to caring friends Vickey Curl, Stephanie Santori and Dixie Rhinehardt who also shared their love with Peg in her later years.
Memorial services will be private.
The family has asked that in lieu of flowers please donate to the First State Animal Center (Kent County SPCA) in Camden or the (Dover) Robbins Hose Fire Company.
Letters of condolence may be sent, and guestbook signed at www.torbertfuneral.com
