Margaret Moore "Peggy" Wright, 83
DENTON, Md. - Margaret Moore "Peggy" Wright, of Denton, died Aug. 8, 2007, at her home. She was 83.
Born in Centreville, Mrs. Wright was the daughter of the late Linwood William Moore and Margaret Ferrick Moore.
She was a graduate a Centreville High School.
Mrs. Wright had worked as an operator for the C&P Telephone Co. in the Denton office.
She had also worked in the Greensboro School cafeteria for many years.
Mrs. Wright was a member of Ridgely United Methodist Church and American Legion Post 29 Auxiliary.
Her husband, Winfield Timmons Wright Sr., whom she married Aug. 11, 1945, died July 5, 1985.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Rebecca Lynn Wright; and two brothers, Tony Moore and Jack Moore.
Mrs. Wright is survived by one daughter, Mary Lynn Wright-Coulbourne of Greensboro; three sons, Winfield T. "Tim" Wright Jr. of Harrington, Del., James Lawrence "Larry" Wright of Denton, and William L. "Bill" Wright of Greensboro; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and her close friend Bob Wahl of Preston.
A funeral service will be 11 a.m. Saturday at the Moore Funeral Home, P.A., 12 S. Second St. in Denton, where friends may call one hour prior to the service.
Interment will be in the Denton Cemetery.
Instead of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations to the Ridgely United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 424, Ridgely, MD 21660.
