RIDGELY, Md. - Margaret Mae Redden, of Ridgely, died Wednesday, Jan. 31, 2007, in Pines-Genesis Elder Care Hospital, Easton. She was 95.
Mrs. Redden was born Jan. 14, 1912, in Concord, daughter of the late Walter Edgar and Edith Ann (Hamilton) Lord.
She attended Concord School.
Mrs. Redden worked for Lane's Variety Store, and was also a homemaker.
She was a member of Ridgely United Methodist Church, and a member of the Women's Society.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, William Willis Redden, on Dec. 14, 1999; a son, Donald Redden, in 1954; a brother, Woody Lord; and two sisters, Edna Trice and Cornelia Carroll.
She is survived by a son, Robert Redden of Queen Anne; two daughters, Barbara Hoevenaars and her husband Tony of Easton, and Faye Zeledon and her husband Al of St. Petersburg, Fla.; a sister, Geneva Waldis of Federalsburg; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
Services will be 2 p.m. Friday in Fleegle and Helfenbein Funeral Home, Greensboro, where friends may view one hour earlier.
