CHESTERVILLE, MD - Margaret L. Miller of Chesterville, Md. died at home on Monday, Aug. 24th. 2015. Mrs. Miller was born near Kennedyville, Md. the daughter of the late Oliver W. and Nellie S Jones Atwell. Mrs. Miller was a wonderful homemaker and played a very instrumental role in the operation of the family farms with her two sons. Mrs. Miller was a member of the Kennedyville United Methodist Church, Kennedyville, Md.. She enjoyed gardening and her flowers and especially enjoyed her time with her family. In addition to her parents Mrs. Miller is predeceased by her husband, Harold E. Miller Sr.; and three sisters, Frances Money, Virginia Timko and Mary Hill. She is survived by two sons, Harold E. "Bunk" Miller of Kennedyville, Md. and James O. Miller and his wife Marsha of Millington, Md.; two grandchildren, Kerry Nagle and her husband Ralph of Sudlersville, Md. and Jamie Miller of Kennedyville, Md.; great- grandchildren, Kohl Miller of Kennedyville, Md. and Kendall and Conlan Nagle both of Sudlersville, Md. as well as one brother, Clifton Atwell; and one sister, Dorothy M. Pinder both of Kennedyville, Md. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Aug. 29, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the Fellows Helfenbein & Newnam Funeral Home, 370 W. Cypress St. Millington, MD., where friends and family may call Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. Interment will follow services in the Shrewsbury Cemetery, Kennedyville, Md. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions in her memory to the Kennedyville United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 32, Kennedyville, MD. 21645 or the Compass Regional Hospice, 255 Comet Drive, Centreville, MD. 21617
