MILLINGTON - Margaret Johnson died Monday, Dec. 10, 2012 at Chester River Hospital in Chestertown, Md. She was born in Philadelphia, Pa. Ms. Johnson was the daughter of the late Gilbert Johnson and Alberta Hackett Johnson of Chesterville, Md. She worked at Vita Foods until it closed and later at Campbell Soup. Margaret enjoyed working in flowers, cooking, spending time with family, especially her little Faye and helping others in need. In addition to two children, she was preceded in death by her parents; significant other, Willis E. Stanley Sr.; two daughters; three sisters; and one brother. Margaret is survived by one daughter, Joyceann Stanley of Millington, Md.; one son, Willis E. Stanley of Chestertown; two grandsons, Donald J. Greene Jr. of Millington and LaVar J. Maddox of Greensboro, Md.; four sisters, Martina Jeff, Claudette "Peggy" Hawkins and Jeanette Johnson all of Chestertown and Virginia Wilson of Chesterville Forest; two brothers-in-law; one niece and two nephews whom she raised; and a host of other nieces, nephews, grand children, great grandchildren, cousins and friends A funeral service will be held at noon on Saturday, Dec. 15, 2012 at Asbury United Methodist Church in Chesterville, Md. with a public viewing one hour prior. Family and friends may also call on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the church.
