Margaret Henrietta Hynson

Margaret Henrietta Hynson, 76 PONDTOWN, Md. - Margaret Henrietta Hynson, of Pondtown, died Saturday, Jan. 23, 2010, in the Chester River Hospital Center in Chestertown, Md. She was 76. He was born in Wyoming, Del., the daughter of the late Orvelle Brown and Mary Belle Wilkerson. Mrs. Hynson worked at Campbell Soup on the production line and retired in 1995. After retirement she went to work for the Kent Center in Chestertown. She was a member of Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church where she served as an usher for many years, and the United Methodist Women. She enjoyed gardening, shopping, playing BINGO, and pinochle, and cooking for her family, especially at the holidays where she always cooked the main dish. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Marion Beatrice Pitts; and two brothers, Elwood Ross and Charles Ross. She is survived by her husband, Otha Hynson of Pondtown; one son, Randy N. Hynson and significant other Doretha of Chestertown; two daughters, Pamela T. Ashley and husband James Ashley "Kenny" of Smyrna, Del., Fatima H. Johnson and husband Howard of Pondtown; two brothers, James Leon Brown of Wyoming, Del., Carvel Brown of Harrington, Del.; six grandchildren, Randy L. Hynson, Von-Tiva Hynson, Ti-Vonna Hynson, Troy J. Ashley, Andre' N. Ashley and Shamia M. Johnson; and five great-grandchildren. Services will be 1 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 30, 2010, Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church. A visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the church. Interment in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery following the service. Arrangements by Fellows, Helfenbein and Newnam Funeral Home 370 Cypress St. Millington, MD 21651.
