Quail, 72
FELTON, Del. - Margaret Ella Quail went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 12, 2021. Margaret was born on June 22, 1948 to the late Herbert and Ruth Quail.
Margaret was educated at William Henry High School in Dover, Del. After leaving school she found employment with Swift & Company in Felton, Del. Over the years, she worked for various companies, and retired from Mohawk Electric Company in 2017.
Margaret was an active member of Mt. Plymouth African Methodist Episcopal Church in Felton, Del., under the leadership of Reverend JoAnne M. Holder. Whereas, she accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior many years ago. She had been a member for over thirty years, and served in the capacity of an Usher when needed. She was a great supporter of all programs at the church. Margaret enjoyed spending time, whether it was face to face or telephone conversations, with family and friends, and was a spark at family gatherings. She was a no- nonsense person, and could get something said, if she needed to. She knew how to set you straight, if she didn't like what was going on. Margaret loved to sit and watch Family Feud with Steve Harvey. She also loved to shop for clothes, and when going out to eat, Olive Garden was her favorite restaurant.
Margaret will be missed by all. She was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Ruth Quail; sisters, Betty, Carrine, Alice, Helena, Harriet, Anna Mae and Delores; brothers, Calvin, Louis, Robert, Barrett, Clifford, Paul, Herbert Jr, Harold and Theodore.
Margaret leaves to cherish her loving memories; her son, Charles Anthony Benson, (Antioch, Tenn.); daughters, Arnetta Hudson (John), (Palatka, Fla.), and Carol Harvin (Derek), {Fredericksburg, Va.); grandchildren, Danielle Harrison, Charles Benson, Jr. "CJ", Avery & Eboni Fenderson, (All from Delaware), Keisha Benson (Madisonville, Ky.) and Ashley Smith, {Palatka, Fla.); and several greatgrandchildren; two sisters, Dorothy Morris, {Tampa, Fla.), and Arnetta Brooks (Jim), Dover, Del.; one brother, James Quail {Gloria), Felton, Del.; two sisters-in-law, Ellen Quail and Anna Quail; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Lovingly Submitted, The Family
