Margaret 'Maggie' Dryden Hurley
Margaret "Maggie" Dryden Hurley passed quietly on February 23, 2021 at the Silver Lake Center in Dover, Delaware.
She was preceded in death by her son, Michael Paul Hurley; and daughter, Gail Leigh Hurley.
Maggie is survived by her brother, Richard Dryden of Sacramento, California; and by her grandchildren, Michael, Matthew, Ryan and Julianne Hurley; her nieces and nephews, Fillmore, Bob and Jamie Dryden; great nieces, Meghan Hairfield and Taylor, Jena and Haley Dryden.
Maggie was born on November 27, 1934 in Princess Anne, Maryland. She received both a Bachelor of Science Undergraduate Degree and Masters Degree in Counselling. She lived her life in Maryland and Delaware. Maggie was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Dover and the American Association of University Women. She loved teaching and playing bridge. She was a celebrated counsellor in advanced education entities in both Maryland and Delaware.
There will be a grave side Celebration of Life for Maggie on June 12, 2021 at 1 p.m. Friends and relatives are welcome to attend Lakeside Cemetery on North State Street.
