Margaret Diana

Margaret Diana, 88 FELTON - Margaret Diana, of Felton, died Tuesday, Dec. 8, 2009, at Capitol Nursing Home, Dover. She was 88. Mrs. Diana was born Feb. 2, 1921, in Salem, N.J., to the late William Bossler and Annabelle Shimp Bossler. She retired after 30 years from Playtex. Mrs. Diana enjoyed being with her family especially her grandchildren. Mrs. Diana was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Diana in 1991. She is survived by her daughters, Patricia Snyder of Felton, Kathleen Shelor of Magnolia, and Shirley Diana of Camden; a son, Russell Diana and his wife Irene of Dover; a sister, Dot Noval of Wilmington; her grandchildren, Michael, Michelle, Richie, Russ, John, Katie, Sara, Gail, Richard, Chris, Jade, Ailyn, Joseph, Jonathan and Lena; 15 great-grandchildren; her long time friend, Bea Harbison; and her dog, Elvis. Funeral services will be noon, Monday, Dec. 14, at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Road (Rt.10), Dover. Friends may call one hour prior. Interment will be at Odd Fellows Cemetery, Camden. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to Delaware Hospice, 911 S. Dupont Highway, Dover, DE 19901. Letters of condolence may be sent, and guestbook signed at www.torbertfuneral.com.
