WILMINGTON - Margaret Catherine Duling, formerly of Millington, Md., died Wednesday, August 26, 2009, in Courtland Manor, Dover. She was 95. Margaret C. Duling was born June 9, 1914 in Sudlersville, Md., the daughter of the late William Dudley Moore and Maggie "Lafferty" Moore. Mrs. Duling moved from Millington in 1945 to Wilmington. She worked as a postal clerk in the Wilmington Post Office and retired in 1981 after 33 years. She enjoyed reading, traveling and returning to Millington for her weekly visits with friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Florence Short of Federalsburg, Md., Pauline Farren of Wilmington, and Lillian Luff of Smyrna. She is survived by one brother, Joseph Moore of Melbourne, Fla.; and two sisters, Sarah Price of Trappe, Md., and Virginia Kennedy of Lady Lake, Fla. Services will be 1 p.m. Monday, August 31, 2009 at Fellows, Helfenbein and Newnam Funeral Home, 370 Cypress St., Millington, Md. Friends may call one hour prior. Interment will be in Sudlersville Cemetery, Sudlersville, Md. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be sent to Millington Asbury United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 187, Millington, MD 21651; or Delaware Hospice, 911 S. Dupont Hwy., Dover, DE 19901.
