Margaret Ann Satterfield

GREENSBORO, MD - Margaret Ann Satterfield passed away on April 17, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on Jan. 28, 1942 to the late Charles E. "Jack" and Ethel Kemp Walls in Sudlersville, Md. She graduated from Sudlersville High School in 1960 and went on to work for Rech Glove factory and Greensboro Garment and was a business partner with her husband in Interstate Battery. She was married to William Wooters Satterfield for 57 years and together they had four children. She volunteered for the Samaritan Shop and was a member of AARP. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Satterfield is preceded in death by her sister, Francis Satterfield; and great-grandchild Garrett. She is survived by her husband, William; daughters, Peggy Conley (Gene) of Greensboro, Paula Penn (Mike) of Denton, Pam Keating (Tony) of Denton and son William D. Satterfield, Sr. of Denton; brother, Wayne Walls of Fairlee; sisters, Betty Calloway of Centreville, Patsy Shields of Seaford and Bonnie Lofland of Centreville; grandchildren, Ashley(John), Theresa, Brittany(Chaz), Billy, Jr., Casie, Lauren, Joseph and Alex; great-grandchildren, Dylan, Derrick, Drake, Ethan, Natalie, Andrea Briella, and another great-grandson is expected in June. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to the Greensboro Lions Club at P.O. Box 429 Greensboro, Maryland 21639. A funeral service will be held at Fleegle and Helfenbein Funeral Home in Greensboro at 2:00p.m. on Friday, April 20, 2018 with a visitation from 12:00 to 2:00p.m. Interment will follow at Greensboro Cemetery.
