WILMINGTON - Margaret Ann Dixon of Wilmington passed away suddenly Wednesday, April 11, 2007, in Christiana Hospital, Newark, after a short illness. She was 67.
Mrs. Dixon was the daughter of Helen Pritchett and the late Madison Jackson.
She was preceded in death by her father Madison Jackson; step-father, Howard Pritchett; three sons, Richard, Duane and Daniel Pritchett; and her fiancé, William E. Hayman.
She leaves behind to mourn, her mother, Helen V. Pritchett of Harrington; three daughters, Darlene Dixon of Dover, Alvinette Lake and Andrea Lake, both of Wilmington; two sons, Terrell (Freda) Dixon of Wilmington, and Theodoric (Lovye) Dixon of Dover; three sisters, Lorretta Mann of Augusta, Ga., Cheryl Pritchett of Magnolia, and Virginia (James) Young of Felton; five brothers, Floyd (Beverly) Dixon of Felton, Louis (Judy) Benson of Smynra, Kenneth (Alva) Dixon of Dover, Alphonso Pritchett of Wilmington and Edward Pritchett of Harrington; three stepsisters, Josephine (Clifford) May of Houston, Agnes (Ralph) Taylor of Frederica and Helen Abrams of Wilmington; 15 grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday in Bennie Smith Funeral Home, 717 W. Division St., Dover.
Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday in New Calvary Baptist Church, 610 S. Heald St., Wilmington, where friends may call two hours earlier.
