Margaret A. 'Peg' Smith, 88
LEWES - Margaret A. "Peg" Smith of Lewes died Wednesday, Dec. 20, 2006, in Beebe Medical Center, Lewes. She was 88.
She was born July 6, 1918, in Millington, Md., daughter of the late Frederick T. and Blanche (Stouffer) Lee.
Mrs. Smith was a member of the Five Points Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star, Newport.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Catherine Green.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Fred G. Smith; a son and a daughter-in-law, Fred G. "Ders" II and Colleen Smith of Wilmington; two daughters and two sons-in-law, June and John Satterfield of Wilmington and Sharon and Roger Beavers of Felton; six grandchildren and their spouses, Jennifer (Beavers) and Jeremy Harris, Scott and Holly Beavers, John Henry and Mary Satterfield, Paul Satterfield, Brett Smith and Dane Smith; and three great-grandchildren, Meghan Harris, Nicholas Satterfield and Drew Satterfield.
Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Parsell Funeral Homes and Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, 16961 Kings Highway, Lewes, where friends may call one hour earlier. The Rev. Bill Hopkins will officiate.
Burial will follow in Henlopen Memorial Park, Milton.
