She loved animals and babies. She raised chickens and ducks at home and had the opportunity to travel with her family to the Allentown Zoo, where she was able to fulfill her dream to actually see and interact with a Sloth. Maddie was also an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan and loved to follow her favorite player #11 Chase Claypool.
She is survived by her mother and father, Amanda and Kevin York; two sisters, Skylar McGinnis and Krystyna York; one brother, Jordan Moses; her grandmother, Barb Walls and her husband Buddy; her grandfather, David McGinnis and his wife Joyce; her God mother, Angie Winchester; several aunts, uncles and cousins; and her beloved Chihuahua puppy, Callie and her dog Jetter.
The family would like to extend a special heartfelt thanks to her nurses Tiffany, Christy and the rest of the Delaware Hospice nurses who lovingly cared for Maddie throughout her illness.
