Mable Lenora Banks Tunnel MILFORD - Mable Lenora Banks Tunnel departed this life Tuesday, June 1, 2010, at the Milford Hospice Center, Milford, Del. She was born in Slaughter Neck to the late John and Pearl Banks on December 1, 1956. She was 53. Mable attended the Slaughter Neck Elementary School and completed her education at the Cape Henlopen High School in Lewes, Del. She worked several jobs until she became ill. She accepted Jesus as her personal savior at an early age and became a member of the Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church and she attended other churches also. She was a member of the James Jefferson Prayer and Fasting and Contemporary Ministries. She was married to Marvin Tunnell. Mable enjoyed playing Spades, cooking, singing and helping whenever and wherever she could. She would say what was on her mind and then smile. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her Aunt Sarah Walls Felton. She leaves to cherish her memory, two daughters, Ronalda Banks, from the state of Washington and Tavery Tunnell, Laurel, Del; four grandchildren, Davon, Damara, Averal and Angelique; three brothers, John, Linwood, and Turance; three sisters, Janice, Brenda and Thorris; one step-sister, Zenda; many many nephews and nieces; and a host of other relatives and friends. Services will be held Monday, June 7, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. in the Wesley Chapel U.M. Church, Slaughter Neck, Del where friends may call two hours prior. Burial will be private. Ministry of Comfort by Young & McPherson Funeral Home.
