Mabel Marie VanSant, 85 WYOMING - Mabel Marie VanSant, passed away Wednesday, July 15, 2009 in the Delaware Hospice Center, Milford. She was born on June 12, 1924 in Woodside, daughter of the late James and Mable Minner. Mabel enjoyed life as a homemaker. Her hobbies included flower gardening, sewing, doll collecting and reading. Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Harry B. VanSant, in 1992, four brothers, Wolcott Minner, Ronald Minner, Delbert Minner and Wallace Minner; and a sister Thelma Wright. She is survived by seven children, Sharon Easterbrook and her husband Richard of Eustis, Fla., Carol Ann Leiberton and her husband George of Reynoldsville, Pa., Beverly Rennie and her husband Gordon of Felton, Marsha VanSant of Saint Petersburg, Fla., Cindy Burke and her husband David of Dover, Amy Rash of San Antonio, Texas and Harry A. VanSant and his wife Georgia of Dover; siblings Gladys Nelson of Smyrna and Harold Minner and his wife Edith of Dover; 18 grandchildren, and 17 great grandchildren. Graveside service will be 11 a.m. Monday, July 20 at Odd Fellows Cemetery, Camden. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Delaware Hospice, 911 S. DuPont Hwy., Dover, DE 19901. Letters of condolences can be sent via www.pippinfuneralhome.com
