Mabel M. Lowman

SMYRNA - Mabel M. Lowman passed away at her home on Saturday, Aug. 13, 2016. She was born Nov. 12, 1929 in Smyrna, the daughter of the late John and Catherine McNatt. Mabel was a proud homemaker and enjoyed children, playing bingo and board games. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ray C. Lowman; three daughters, Vera Bradford, Kay Brandt and Tina Tsosie; two son-in-laws, Stewart Lestz and Dave Tsosie; six sisters; and three brothers. She is survived by three daughters, Teresa Iosbaker (Henry), Debra Lestz and Donya Cox (Bob); two son-in-laws, Donald Bradford and Dave Brandt; her sister, Joan Simmons (Strab); 25 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and her special niece whom she raised, Rita Szymanski (Dan). A viewing will be held on Monday, Aug. 22, 2016 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the Faries Funeral Chapel, located at 29 S. Main St. in Smyrna. Funeral services will begin at 12 p.m. Burial will follow at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Smyrna. Condolence letters may also be sent by visiting www.fariesfuneralhome.com.
