DENTON, Md. - Lynne K. Wells, of Denton, died Saturday, Feb. 23, 2008, at the Caroline Nursing Home, Denton. She was 68.
Born in Englewood, N.J., Mrs. Wells was the daughter of Kathryn Virginia Kendall Conneely of Denton and her late husband, Thomas J. G. Conneely. Her husband, Melvin Wells, died in October 1990.
She lived in Caroline County since 1945.
In addition to her mother, Mrs. Wells is survived by her brother, Thomas J. M. Conneely Sr. and his wife Dawn of Denton; and two nephews, Thomas J. M. Conneely Sr. and his wife Michelle of Denton and John M. Conneely of Ridgely, Md.
The funeral service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Moore Funeral Home, 12 S. Second St., Denton, where friends may call one hour before the service.
The interment will be private.
Instead of flowers, the family requests that friends send memorial donations to the Adult Day Care Center, 403 S. Seventh St., Denton, MD 21629.
