CAMDEN, DE - Lynn Marie Angeles Spiro, cherished Wife, Mother, Sister and Grandmother went home to be with the Lord on Monday, July 3, 2023 peacefully in her home.
Lynn was born November 20, 1960 in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin to Amado and Marlyn (McCrary) Angeles. She passed with her husband of 29 years, Mack Spiro, by her side. While her home was in Camden, DE, her most cherished places were when she traveled in the Military to Japan and Turkey.
She proudly served in the U.S. Air Force for 16 years. Most recently, she worked for USDA for the last 12 years before retiring on disability in November 2022. Lynn was always well respected by her coworkers and leadership.
Lynn was preceded in death by her parents, Amado and Marlyn (McCrary) Angeles; and her brother, Amadore Angeles.
She is survived by her husband, Mack Spiro of Camden, DE; her daughter and son-in-law, Rebekkah and Chris Conley of Camden, DE; her two beautiful grandchildren, Aubree Lynn and Kathan Amadore; her half-brother, Kevin Kezo of Wisconsin; her two sisters, Ann (Angeles) Surcamp of New Haven, MI and Sue (Angeles) Wheeler of Ann Arbor, MI; along with her niece, Sara Haddad; and nephews, Eddie Wojtkiewicz, Darrell Surcamp, Stephen Hartley and Sean Wheeler all of Michigan. She also has many cousins, aunts and uncles who will carry on her memory.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, July 11, 2023 at Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Avenue, Wyoming, DE 19934. Friends may visit one hour prior. Interment will be private at a local VA Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Lynn's name to her most cherished nonprofit that provides Christian education to local youth, Central Delaware Christian Academy, 4698 S. DuPont Highway, Dover, DE 19901.
