Heaven gained another precious angel, even if it was too soon. Lyneah Elizabeth-Louise Harrison was called home to be with the Lord and with other loved ones on January 3, 2022. Born on October 13, 2004, she was a beautiful gift to her mother Faith E. Kurtz and father Lenny C. Harrison Sr. (both of Dover). She was also blessed with a second father in Demetrice R. White (of Dover).
Lyneah was preceded in death by her grandmother, Louise G. Kurtz; great grandparents, Herbert P. and Jean E. Allen; great grandparents, Jacob and Rosa Kurtz; and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins, all of whom greet her with arms wide open at those Pearly Heavenly Gates. Besides her parents; Lyneah is survived by a protective older brother, Lenny C. Harrison Jr. (18); and a BFF in her younger sister, Myracle F.-R. White (6) (both of Dover); a grandmother, Thressa White (of Hawaii); a Godmother, Jacqueline Smith (of Kennett Square, Pa.); grandparents, Allen J. and Diane L. Kurtz (both of Dover); and a bunch of aunts, uncles and cousins who love her tremendously.
Lyneah was a special and unique soul with a resilient inner strength. She was goofy, funny, serious, intelligent and loving. In her few short years in this life, she impacted the lives of those that surrounded her. Lyneah attended school at KCCS with wonderful teachers, staff, therapists and classmates who treated her like family and went above and beyond in their duties towards her. The hearts of those who loved her are reeling from her sudden departure, broken, but not destroyed. Knowing she will always rest forever in their hearts and memories.
A Celebration of Her Life service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, January 13, 2022, at Pippin Funeral Home, 119 West Camden Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, DE 19934 where family and friends may gather two hours before. She will be laid to rest at Odd Fellows Cemetery with family who have preceded her.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the funeral home to assist with expenses.
Online condolences may be made via www.pippinfuneralhome.com
