Lydia E. Regan, 84

FELTON - Lydia E. Regan, of Felton, passed away Wednesday, March 25, 2009, in her home. She was 84. Lydia was born on Nov. 15, 1924, in Messena, N.Y., one of 12 children born to the late Howard and Dora Landon. She had worked as a nurses aide for many years in various locations. Lydia enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking and shopping. Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Richard Regan on Nov. 22, 2008; and a daughter, Janet Blanco. She is survived by a daughter, Joann Campbell of Felton; a son, Joseph Stefanski; 10 grandchildren, Matt Bennett of Virginia Beach, Angela Quinn of Seattle, Wash., Mark Campbell and Melinda Campbell both of Dover, Tanya Seymour of Florida, Tareylyn Cripe of Virginia, Eric Seymour of Florida, Holly, Sara, Brandon Stefanski all of Rome, N.Y.; eight great-grandchildren, Abbey Quinn of Washington, Chloe Quinn of Washington, Morgan Ramsey of Virginia Beach, Seth Ramsey of Virginia Beach, Victoria Applegreen of Florida, Arial Solis, Sophie Roller and Danielle Roller all of Virginia. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. today, March 27, 2009, at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 641 S. State St., Dover, where friends may also gather at the church one hour earlier. Burial will follow at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Millsboro. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions to Delaware Hospice, 911 S. DuPont Hwy., Dover, DE 19901.
