Louvina Spencer Bradley, 73
CHESTERTOWN, Md. - Louvina Spencer Bradley of Chestertown died Sunday, Nov. 18, 2007, in Chester River Hospital, Chestertown. She was 73.
Louvina was born Nov. 14, 1934, to the late Ida Reddin and William Spencer in Chestertown.
She received her education at Garrett School.
Louvina accepted Christ at an early age under the leadership of Bishop Cotton.
She loved the Lord and did not mind telling folk they need to repent and accept the Lord Jesus as their Savior.
Louvina was married to the late Edward Bradley.
She moved to Philadelphia in 1965, where she was employed by Sketchly Cleaner Services.
Louvina moved back to Chestertown in 1994 to rear her great-grandchildren.
She worked as a private duty nurse for several years.
Louvina was preceded in death by her daughter, Anita Isaacs; and granddaughter, Evatte Fletcher.
She leaves to cherish her memory her granddaughters, Chevelle Isaacs and Janelle Bowens; great-grandsons, Charles Jenkins and Timothy Isaacs; great-granddaughters, Chanelle Jenkins and Latoya Lyons; one brother, William Thomas and his wife Wadella; two sisters, Peggy Thomas and Nancy Smith and her husband Charles; two special friends, Lillian Higgins and Sue Felton; and a host of nieces nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in Olivet Pentecostal Church of Love, Galena.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today in the church and one hour prior to services on Wednesday.
Burial will be in the Janes Cemetery, Chestertown.
