Templeville, Md. - Louise Trice, passed away on June 4, 2016, just after her birthday, surrounded by her loving family. She was a kind, devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose strong, Christian presence encouraged all who knew her. Born in Templeville, Md., she was one of ten children born to Guerney Lowman and Molly(Glanding) Lowman. Most of her life was lived in Templeville, Md., where Louise raised her three children with her husband, Herman Noah Trice, who passed in 1989. Her interests included crocheting, word puzzles, and serving at Templeville Community Church, where she was an active member. Her greatest joys in life were her family and her faith. In addition to her husband, and siblings, Louise was also preceded in death by her daughter and son-in-law, Christine and Fred Donkin. Louise is survived by her daughter, Connie McDougall and her husband, Paul, of Felton; her son, Martin Trice and wife, Beverly, of Malden, Mass.; five grandchildren, Paul McDougall, Jr., and James Martin, both of Dover; Amanda Drake and her husband, Damon, of Brookville, Fla.; Ian Trice and his wife, Heather, of Chicago, Ill.; and Andrew Trice and his fiance', Jessica Jankins, of Abington, Mass. Louise was also great-grandmother of four, Cameron, Alex, Zachary, and Isabella Drake. She is also survived by her dear sister, Eleanor Kingsley, of Alexandria, Va.; whose daughters, Cheryl, Pam, Diane, and Sandy, held a special place in her heart. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, June 9, 2016, in Templeville Community Church, Barclay Rd., Templeville, Md.; where family and friends may gather one hour before. Burial will follow in Templeville Cemetery. Condolences may be sent via: www.pippinfuneralhome.com.
