DOVER - Louise T. Stafford, of Dover, passed away Monday, Dec. 31, 2007, in her home with family by her side. She was 92.
She was born March 29, 1915, in Millington, Md., to the late John and Bessie (Kemp) Turner.
Mrs. Stafford was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church, Dover, and Fruitland Grange, Camden.
She went to Millington High School.
Mrs. Stafford and her late husband Bennett Stafford were the owners of the Shamrock Motel in Dover for many years.
She enjoyed gardening and going to the Modern Maturity Center, Dover.
Mrs. Stafford was preceded in death by her husband; and a daughter, June S. Wilkison.
She is survived by a son-in-law, Robert Wilkison of Dover; a niece and her husband, Sandy and Steve Hollenbeck of Milford; a nephew and his wife, Robert and Lisa Bishop of Smyrna; a grandniece and -nephew, Jill and Jordan Hollenbeck; and grand-niece and -nephews, Emily, Joshua and Nicholas Bishop.
Remembrance services will be 1 p.m. Thursday in Trader Funeral Home, Dover, where friends may call one hour prior.
Burial will be at the Sudlersville (Md.) Cemetery.
The family requests that memorial contributions be given to Delaware Hospice, 911 S. DuPont Highway, Dover, DE 19901.
