EASTON, Md. - Louise S. Cross of Easton, Md., formerly of Denton, Md., died Thursday, April 26, 2007, at William Hill Manor in Easton. She was 93.
Born Oct. 20, 1913, in Stirling, N.J., Mrs. Cross was the daughter of the late Walter J. Swenson and Aleda (Stidd) Swenson.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 66 years, J. Austin Cross; one brother, Robert W. Swenson; and one sister, Ruth S. Archibald.
Mrs. Cross is survived by two sons, David A. Cross and his wife, Regina of Suwanee, Ga. and Robert W. Cross and his wife, Sylvia, of Easton, Md.; six grandchildren, Cynthia Schmitt and her husband, Peter, John H. Cross and his wife, Karen, David A. Cross and his wife, Shawn, Kevin D. Cross and his wife, Susan, Eric Cross and his wife, Dana, and Deborah Self and her husband, Kale; 13 great-grandchildren, Joshua, Ashley, Mike, Michelle, Chase, Blake, Sara Ann, John, Matthew, Megan L., Megan D., Brandon, and Logan; and one great-great-granddaughter, Mykella.
A graveside memorial service will be 5 p.m. on Monday in the Denton Cemetery.
Instead of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the William Hill Manor Employee Appreciation Fund, ATT. S. P. Blades, 501 Dutchman"s Lane, Easton, MD 21601.
