Louise M. Pippin, 87

FEDERALSBURG, Md. - Louise M. Pippin of Federalsburg died June 25, 2007, in Memorial Hospital in Easton. She was 87.

Born in Greensboro on March 23, 1920, Mrs. Pippin was the daughter of the late George and Grace Dean.

She attended Greensboro High School and worked at the button factory in Denton for many years.

Mrs. Pippin was also a seamstress at the Greensboro Sewing Factory.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George Alton Pippin, on Feb. 10, 1985; two brothers, Ralph Dean and Arthur Dean; and one sister, Ella Wothers.

Mrs. Pippin is survived by one daughter, Ann Neal, and her husband, D. Wheatley Neal, of Federalsburg; two granddaughters, Charlotte Brown and her husband, Michael, of Federalsburg, and Cindy Clopper and her husband, Marc, of Denton; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in the Concord United Methodist Church in Concord, where friends may call one hour before the service.

Interment will be in the Concord Cemetery.

Instead of flowers, memorials may be made to the Concord Community Building, c/o Mrs. Susan Neal, 8491 Andersontown Road, Denton, MD 21629.
