Louise Jones O'Neill

Louise Jones O'Neill, 94

DOVER - Louise Jones O'Neill of Dover, formerly of Georgetown, passed away Monday, April 30, 2007, at Westminster Village in Dover. She was 94.

She was born November 27, 1912, in Philadelphia, daughter of the late Hoyt P. and Pearl (Noble) Jones.

Mrs. O'Neill was an active member of the Georgetown Presbyterian Church. She attended West Nottingham Academy in Colora, Md., where she graduated valedictorian.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Col. Stewart B. O'Neill Jr., in 1963.

She is survived by her daughter, Betsy O'Neill of New York, N.Y.; nieces, Sandra MacDiarmid of San Jose, Calif. and Mary E. McGinley of Washington.

Funeral services will be held on Friday 2 p.m. at Georgetown Presbyterian Church, 203 N. Bedford St., Georgetown, where friends may call one hour prior to the service.

Interment will follow at Union Cemetery in Georgetown. The Rev. Michael Williams will be officiating with the Rev. Robert Snable co-officiating.

Memorials may be sent to Westminster Village Charitable Care, 1175 McKee Road, Dover, DE 19904.

Arrangements are being handled by Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Dodd-Carey Chapel, Georgetown.
