LEWES - Louis Roberts Pecco passed away peacefully Wednesday, December 10, 2014, surrounded by his loving family at his home in Lewes after a long battle with MDS leukemia. Louis was born July 29, 1958 in Bridgeport, Conn. Louis worked as a store manager for Pathmark. He also enjoyed and took great pride in working at the Surfrider Condominium, as the maintenance man. Louis enjoyed spending time with his sister, nieces, and nephew. He enjoyed going to the casino and taking cruises. He is preceded in death by his mother, Marie Pecco (1993); father Mario Pecco (2008); and his sons, Jesse Edward Pecco (2000) and Justin Tyler Pecco (2011). Louis is survived by his loving and devoted sister, Lynne Smith of Lewes;his loving niece, Selene Valdivia, and her husband, Manuel Valdivia; his two great-nieces, Diana and Mariah Valdivia of Phoenix, Ariz. He is also survived by his devoted niece, Jenna Pecco-Vernon and her husband, DaShaun Vernon; his great-niece, Aisha Pecco-Vernon; his great-nephew, Dallas Pecco-Vernon of Lewes. He is also survived by his devoted business partner and friend, Christopher Sturgill of Lewes. A mass will be held and his life will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 9, 2015, at The Bennie Smith Funeral Home, located at 274 North Rehoboth Blvd. Milford, Del. 19963. A burial is to follow at Milford Community Cemetery, North Walnut Street, Milford, Del.
